So 2015 has ended and it was pretty much a roller coaster. At the start it was very emotional. At the start, I either wanted to run away from where I was or......or kill myself =( I felt all my love and passion for what I love to do and kept myself away from everyone I love..... But lucky it didn't happen. I got out of PCAD and transfer to Cedar Crest and will be graduating in 2017 ^_^ so now my life is looking hopeful. But there's still a few things I need to work on.

So my New Years Resolution

  • Paint and Draw more (in any form, pro or fan work)

  • Possibly work on my OC's stories and more rping

  • Start up an Etsy account (need to get that going to get some money)

  • stay in touch with close and old friends and visit them more often (:iconsephirothlover20: and Francesca I'm so so so so so SO sorry I haven't text or anything. You girls are my whole world and I love you. Never forget that)

  • Enter in more art shows and events

  • get healthy and mostly eat healthy

  • get ready for Seattle and Emerald City Comic Con (I'm going as Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens)

  • try and pass the spring semester

  • See a therapist (hopefully)

  • save money (my account has gotten really low lately)

  • And I think that's it

I hope I at least meet up with each goal. In the mean time, here is my top 5 worst movies of 2016. It's least cause I avoided all the worst this year. I didn't see Fifty Shades of Grey and there was no way I would see Pixels, that would only encourage Adam Sandler and we don't want that. so here they are...

  1. 5) Jupiter Ascending: This might be the only movie on the list I find myself enjoy for the "it's so bad it's hilarious" reason. The Wachowkis has made some impressive work with the Matrix trilogy and Netflix Sense8, but this movie was anything but impressive. The way to describe this movie is think back to when you were either first in high school or first starting out on DA, then think about the first fan made character you made for anything, and then they made a movie about it. BOOM Jupiter Ascending! This movie is your fan fic from the 9th grade pretty much. The acting is laughable and slow, the effects are everywhere, and the plot was like going through homework, you don't get it unless you've read into it more. It's a headache. But I don't really hate it. It's fun to laugh at the nonsense and it's safe to say it's a guilty pleasure.

    4) Tomorrowland: There was some slight of hope in this film when first viewing the trailer, snd hey it's directed by Brad Bird. What could go wrong? Well apparently everything. It was a bit overwhelming seeing what could have been the next Pirates of the Caribbean. But it's not like the first more but more like it's lesser sequels. It had an awkward way of telling the story, No compelling characters (though I did love Raffey Cassidy's Athena) and very confusing message to tell. There was some effort in there somewhere, I know there is. But it just comes to so that it will be another Live Action Disney forgettable.

    3) Green Inferno: I didn't see this in theater, I actually saw it at one of my classmates dorm on Halloween week off bootleg. I knew it was gonna be a mess when it was a Eli Roth movie. I've seen Cabin Fever and Hostel and both movies were just insulting torture porn. This movie is still the same but it tries so hard to be a modern version of Cannibal Holocaust. It's disgusting and painful to sit through and the deeper meaning of “following a cause with no knowledge” is just laughable. I don't recommended for Halloween or any other day to watch it.

    2) Strange Magic: I know there's a lot of you that haven't forgiven George Lucas for 'ruining' the Star Wars prequels. I'm one of those people that is indifferent from it. I see the flaws yes but I didn't think it was they worsts he's ever put out (that titled belongs to Howard the Duck). But now it seem the magic is all gone when he wrote this move that was and I quote “The Star Wars movies for his daughter”, Strange Magic. I wanted to like this movie, I though it would be fun and charming like Labyrinth, but instead it's does everything wrong from beginning to end. Firstly the animation is horrendous. The running gag is that the creatures of the Dark Forest are ugly but I honestly think the faeries and elves look even worse. The story and especially the romance is force and uninteresting. Another feature that fails is that it's jukebox musical and a very bad one. I have nothing against that genres, heck I think the best from it was in Book of Life where it had a tremendous pace when they had to sing. But here's every second they jam a pop song in your face as if it were Glee on a desperate season. There's only a few song that were okay, Alan Cumming and Rachael Evan Wood singing “Strange Magic” was beautiful and I'm not gonna lie I did chuckles when the army faeries hummed “Bad Romance”, but every thing else is obnoxious. Which is sadly what this movie is, obnoxious.

    1) Fantastic Four (or Fan4stic): I'm not gonna lie, the moment I heard Chronicle director Josh Trank was laid off from directing the IX episode of Star Wars, Something wasn't going right for his reboot of Fantastic Four. There was some glimmer of hope in the beginning, almost having a Super 8 vibe to it and I didn't mind it being the Four from the Ultimate Marvel universe (my least favorite Marvel universe), but once you go further in, you notices when Fox Studio tried to change up everything. It's so noticeable from Kate Mara's constant change of hair from natural to strawberry blond wig to re dubbing Victor Domashev to Doom because fanboys went apeshit. Though the real problem that the studio did was it was a dull dull dull dull ride. It want on forever and left out anything fun and redeeming. Almost half of the things you've seen in the trailer didn't even appeared in the final cut. It is very sad to see this family comic duo fall hard and now being shoved back on the shelf for Fox never to use again unless the Marvel Studio wants a hold on them to bring into the MCU. But there is a glimmer of hope...............Brad Bird is making Incredibles 2 so we'll get the superhero family duo soon enough!

Hope you enjoy and Part 2 of the best movies will come soon!

Wow ... you really didn't like Tomorrowland at all, did you? :omg:  Did we actually see the same movie? :XD:  At least we agree that Raffey Cassidy was great, I see GREAT THINGS in that kid's future.

I have NO INTEREST at all in seeing Green Inferno, when I heard about it I just didn't like the idea of it to begin with, and when I saw the trailer the suspicion of the general shiteness was kind of confirmed, so definitely no for that one.  Seems Eli Roth should just STOP directing movies and stick to acting, he's far better at that.

Fantastic 4 ... oh dear, that was a real car crash of a movie.  I saw it twice, myself - first time I went in hopeful and was THOROUGHLY disappointed, but I found myself wondering if my expectations were just TOO high so I needed to go in there with my critical brain ... and truth is there ARE moments of potential in there (like the scene where Victor first lets rip with his new powers, very much recalling Dane Dehaan's character's step over to the dark side in Chronicle, and VERY dark and edgy territory for a PG-13), perhaps (we can only hope given the promise he showed with his AMAZING debut feature) examples of when Josh Trank WASN'T being straitjacketed by Fox.  Or maybe he really was just a flash in the pan?  In the end I really wonder HOW this and Chronicle could have been made by the same director ...
